Dublin - Consultant Sales Engineer

Purpose:

My client, one of the world's largest manufacturers of air conditioning & heat pumps, is looking for an experienced sales engineer to join their successful sales team and cover the Leinster territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining a strong relationship with consultants within the territory.
• Identifying market needs in order to answer them with the most appropriate solutions and generate sales.
• Making product selections in line with the consultants needs and writing the corresponding specifications.
• Liaising closely with other teams to ensure customer expectations.
• Writing reports and presenting findings to Managers and Supervisors on a regular basis.
• Executing the Consulting Sales Strategy to maximize the turnover potential.

Essential Experience:

• Must have a diploma/degree in an engineering or business domain or proven experience in the HVAC industry.
• Must have technical knowledge about HVAC.
• Keen on achieving targets and keeping track of the internal budget based on quotation & orders.
• Have a customer focused attitude.
• Strong communicator
• Confident in negotiation skills
• Well-organised and continuously looking for improvements.
• Analytical approach to solving problems.
• Open and positive minded.
• Be familiar with the current software packets (MS office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• A knowledge of CRM SAP is preferred but not necessary.
• Full drivers licence
