First Year Apprentice Vacancy
In partnership with National College of Ireland - Recruitment Executive Apprenticeship - BA (Hons) Degree in Recruitment Practice. This a new three-year apprenticeship degree which allows you to work 4 days a week as a Recruitment Executive and attend virtual or on-campus classes at NCI 1 day a week in order to gain this specialised qualification.
Principle Objectives
To support the Talent Acquisition team in delivering a high-quality recruitment service by assisting in administrative, candidate-facing, and business support tasks while undertaking a structured apprenticeship program. The apprentice will develop a solid foundation in recruitment practices, employment law, and talent strategy through hands-on experience and academic learning.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process by preparing interview schedules, posting job adverts, and managing candidate communication.
- Use and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software tools.
- Learn and apply ICT skills and career development concepts to support candidates.
- Support negotiation and influencing activities during the candidate offer stage.
- Engage in ongoing professional learning, reflecting on workplace experiences
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently and work to deadlines.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication with candidates, colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, email systems, and willing to learn new recruitment software and databases.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Openness to learning new skills and adjusting to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete all apprenticeship coursework and assignments on time.
- Demonstrate effective use of IT Systems

- 39 hours - 4 Full days in HR Department and 1 attending NCI
- Working week Monday to Friday
