Position Summary: In this essential role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. The Hygiene Operative will ensure that all areas are sanitized, safe, and presentable, adhering to established health and safety protocols.

This position requires attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To ensure a safe working environment for yourself and all other staff at ALL times.
  • To ensure hygiene processes are carried out correctly, recorded and completed within the allotted time and to a high standard.
  • To assist in improving hygiene procedures, working practices and working efficiencies.
  • To ensure all pest control procedures are followed and recorded effectively.
  • To ensure all painting schedules are adhered to in a timely and effective manner.
  • You will need to be able to use a variety of MHE as well as a ride on scrubbing machine and a scissor lift.
  • You will need to be able to work at heights and some heavy lifting will be involved.
  • To work to, have knowledge of and actively promote AIB, DQMP and Work Place Organisation standards.
  • To complete all schedules in a timely manner and complete the associated paperwork.

Qualifications:

Technical Competencies:

  • Previous hygiene or work place organisation experience - desirable
  • Previous experience of MS computer packages to intermediate level
  • Good performance management skills
