Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Purpose Of The Position:The Project & Administration Support Worker will be involved in assisting with the planning, organisation and delivery of the centre related activities / services for Ballybrack and surrounding areas under the direction of the Project Centre Manager.
Responsible To: The Project Centre Manager on a day to day basis and PICES CE Supervisor.
Hours Of Work:- 5 hours per week. Monday – Friday mornings but some flexibility may be required on occasion.

- Report for work at the appointed hour and leave at the appointed time.
- Answer the door / phone and take messages when necessary.
- Open / lock up the centre when necessary.
- Ensure visitors sign in / sign out of the centre.
- Provide a frontline service for community groups / service users / visitors to the centre.
- General administrative support duties for the centre activities / training programmes.
- Assist with the planning / running of adult education classes and community group bookings.
- Maintain records of attendance / evaluations for training groups and any other information as required.
- Help to organise / run fundraising activities and community events.
- To build partnerships with the local community, organisations and agencies in the local area.
- Help to promote integration, diversity and acceptance in the community.
- Working as part of a wider team you will be asked to work to all Southside Partnership DLR’s policies and procedures including Health and Safety.
- Active participation in Southside Partnership DLR’s events as required.
- Attend any training relevant to the post.
- Attend PICES training and meetings with the CE Supervisor.
- Undertake other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time by the manager.
Candidate Requirements:

- Communication, initiative, willingness to work and the ability to self direct.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with co workers in the centre / wider organisation, service users and other groups in the local community.
- We are looking for a person who is a team player, flexible, has a warm and friendly manner, is respectful and has a good sense of inclusivity for people from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic IT / administration skills an advantage.
Relevant in-house training will be provided.
