Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Dairy Farm Assistant As a full-time team member to join our team at Brian Coyle Drumlood Contracts Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of a dairy farm, ensuring the health and productivity of the herd while maintaining high farm standards.
Key Responsibilities: ✔ Milking cows and managing the milking process efficiently
✔ monitoring animal health, detecting signs of mastitis, and lame cow.✔ Feeding, watering, and managing the nutrition of dairy cattle
✔ operating and maintaining farm machinery, including tractors
✔ assisting in calving, calf rearing, and general herd management
✔ cleaning and maintaining sheds.
Requirements: ✅ Minimum 2 years of experience in dairy farming
✅ Basic English language skills✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends when required
