About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Associate to join a leading financial services organisation in Dublin on a fixed-term contract. This role sits within the Second Line of Defence, supporting the Senior Compliance Officer and Chief Compliance Officer in maintaining and enhancing the firm's regulatory compliance framework.
The successful candidate will assist with a broad range of compliance activities, including maintaining compliance calendars, monitoring regulated activities, preparing governance materials, managing regulatory correspondence, and ensuring internal policies and procedures remain current and effective.This is an excellent role for someone seeking to develop their compliance expertise in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily compliance monitoring activities, including trade surveillance call reviews
- Maintain the Compliance Workflow through MS Planner and support completion of BAU tasks
- Manage the Compliance Team Actions Log and track progress
- Log and monitor regulatory correspondence and requests, ensuring timely responses
- Prepare and distribute reports and papers for management and committee meetings
- Collate and report Compliance KRIs and KPIs
- Prepare management information and compliance documentation
- Maintain compliance manuals, procedures, and registers, ensuring regular review and approval
- Administer staff personal account dealing processes
- Coordinate quarterly compliance training rollouts and track completion
- Monitor regulatory reporting activities to ensure timely submissions
- Provide administrative and project support across the Compliance Team
- 1-3 years' experience within a financial institution, ideally in a Compliance or first line control role
- Strong academic background (degree level preferred), supported by relevant sector or professional qualifications
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Keen to learn, develop, and progress within the compliance field
Location: Dublin (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
