About Us: Daly Farrell is seeking to recruit a Business and Finance Project Manager
specialising in finance & Investment analytics within a well- known practice in Kilkenny
Role Overview:This role sits at the intersection of finance, data, and accounting. You will lead or support projects that drive insights into financial analysis, Budgeting and forecasting, and portfolio analytics for a number of clients. The ideal candidate is both analytically strong and project-savvy, capable of managing cross-functional initiatives and delivering data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, Organise and execute the projects allocated.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial data, KPIs, and dashboards for performance monitoring.
- Translate technical and financial insights into clear business cases and executive presentations.
- Track budgets, project milestones, risks, and benefits realisation in line with regulatory and internal standards.
Candidate Profile: Education & Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Accountants (ACCA or ACA) or part qualified accountants with 1-2 years of experienceIn a finance/ accounting role or a finance background is essential
Knowledge of financial systems ,excel and accounting software such as (Sage ,Surf, Relate) essential
Skills:
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Strong attention to detail to identify errors and discrepancies in the data
Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards and techniques is essential.
Strong use of accounting software to generate reports.
