We’re recruiting an ICT Support Engineer to join a well-established public sector organisation in Dublin city centre. This role offers the chance to work across end-user support, Microsoft technologies, endpoint management, and day-to-day ICT operations in a structured and collaborative environment.

The Role
You’ll provide hands-on ICT support across desktop, endpoint, and user environments while helping to ensure reliable, secure, and responsive IT services.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver 1st and 2nd line ICT support across hardware, software, and end-user environments
- Support Microsoft 365 administration, including user management and troubleshooting
- Administer and support Active Directory / Entra ID environments
- Configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, and endpoint devices
- Support endpoint management and device life-cycle activities using Intune and related tools
- Troubleshoot Windows desktop and operating system issues
- Assist with account provisioning, permissions, and access management
- Support networking and connectivity troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, WiFi, VPN)
- Support endpoint security, patching, and compliance activities
- Manage incidents and service requests through ticketing systems
- Escalate and coordinate issues with internal teams and third-party suppliers
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives
- 2+ years’ experience in ICT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk, or Infrastructure Support environments
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration and support experience
- Experience supporting Windows desktop environments
- Experience with Active Directory and/or Entra ID administration
- Exposure to Intune, endpoint management, or device deployment tools
- Experience with ticketing systems and SLA-driven environments
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting methodologies
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Exposure to Azure environments
- ITIL certification or service management exposure
- Public sector, education, or regulated environment experience
- Experience supporting security and patch management processes
