Standards & Compliance Officer

On behalf of our client, a catering service provide, we are currently recruiting for a Standards & Compliance Officer.

This role will be based in Head Office in Dublin 11, but will require regular travel to units throughout the island of Ireland. This is a permanent, full-time role.

This role will report directly to the Group the Quality, Food Safety & Environmental Health & Safety Manager ensuring that all aspects of QFSEHS are adhered to consistently throughout units nationwide.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Promote continuous improvement of the Quality, Food Safety & Environmental Health & Safety (QFSEHS) Management System ensuring that high standards of both Quality & Safety are maintained across the company.
  • Contribute to the improvement, development and implementation of company QFSEHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct Food Safety helper audits incorporating Customer Service and Quality standards, review and report.
  • Conduct follow-up/surveillance Food Safety and Health & Safety audits, review and report.
  • Assist the Group QFSEHS Manager in updating/completing Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Systems of Work & Risk Assessments for all areas/procedures.
  • Assist the Group QFSEHS Manager in ensuring all departmental requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Work together with the Group QFSEHS Manager in the resolution of product complaints, non-conformances, and customer/client queries together with public & employee accidents and incidents.
  • Provide support to the Group QFSEHS Manager on Environmental initiatives and policies and procedures.
  • Working as part of cross functional teams on projects including but not limited to customer service assessments, sustainability and training & development.
  • Provide direct support on Project Mobilisation activities including new openings and closures.
  • Provide support and deliver further stages of appropriate training as required.
  • As a member of the Quality team, contribute proactively to the development of the QMS strategy and culture and lead and support operational problem solving and improvement initiatives as necessary.
Qualifications;
  • 3^rd level qualification in technical / science (Food Science/Quality Management/Environmental Health & Safety/Occupational Health & Safety)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar Industry (Multi-site, wide range and variety of operations in the Retail/Food Service/Catering Industry)
  • Full clean driving licence
