Area Manager - Dublin
Our client, a large grocery chain, is seeking an Area Manager to join their well-established team and assist in managing stores in the Dublin area.
We are looking for strong retail professionals who have gained proven experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate would be strategic-thinking, problem-solving managers who can inspire everyone to be high achievers. Suppose you think that you have got it. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a district, overseeing all Store Managers
- Foster a positive, high-performing team environment
- Coach, support, and develop Store Managers to drive success
- Monitor and optimise stock flow and cash management
- Conduct regular district tours with the Sales Executive
- Provide analysis and feedback to support key projects
- Manage store openings, refurbishments, and re-openings
- Develop and execute annual business plans and staffing strategies
- Define and track KPIs to ensure operational excellence
- Align district performance with company strategy
- Prepare for and actively contribute to Area Manager meetings
- A minimum of a degree or at least 3 years of management experience
- Strong communication, planning, organisational, and analytical skills
- A full, clean driving licence
- A motivated, flexible, and results-driven leader
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career in retail
