You'll be part of a dynamic team that is at the forefront of pioneering engineering efforts and enhancing IT capabilities. This is your chance to operate at a strategic level, influencing network architecture for both current operations and exciting new projects, including offshore renewable deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the end-to-end architecture strategy for OT and IT network integration across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments.
- Ensure secure, resilient, and scalable designs that meet regulatory and operational requirements for critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with offshore delivery teams and global partners to align standards and accelerate deployment.
- Guide projects through the right technical paths, balancing technical architecture decisions with overall solution design and business outcomes.
- Define and maintain the OT/IT network architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
- Lead the design and deployment of high-performance network solutions for critical infrastructure.
- Oversee integration of OT and IT systems, ensuring interoperability and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Provide technical leadership and governance across network design and operational support.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing technology investments and solution approaches.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognized qualification in a relevant technical discipline backed by 10 years of experience in senior network engineering or architecture roles.
- Proven expertise in OT networking, routing, switching, and WAN technologies (including MPLS).
- Strong knowledge of network security, vulnerability management, and remediation.
- Experience in architecting and delivering complex network solutions in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Excellent technical and analytical skills, with the ability to operate effectively in complex environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and collaborate across teams.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
- Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Netbox).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and advanced security frameworks.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container networking (Kubernetes, Docker).
