Our client is an Irish construction and civil engineering contractor that operates mainly in infrastructure, utilities, groundworks, and public realm projects across Ireland. The company is based in Dublin and is known for delivering civil works and infrastructure support services for both public and private sector clients.
Due to continuous growth we now look to hire an experienced Project Manager to join the team permanently.
Project Manager - Dublin / Meath Area
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering construction projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality, safety and regulatory standards. This role involves coordination with clients, designers, subcontractors and internal teams to achieve project objectives.

We are looking for:
- Third‑level qualification in Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering, Architecture or related discipline (NFQ Level 7/8 or equivalent).
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in construction project management (main contractor or consultancy environment).
- Strong leadership and team management capability.
- Excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Effective communicator with negotiation and stakeholder engagement strengths.
- Good knowledge of Irish building regulations, quality systems, and safety standards.
- Proficient with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office suite.
- Ability to analyse problems and make timely decisions under pressure.
- Lead full project lifecycle: from pre‑construction planning through execution to handover.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation and risk assessments.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (design, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
- Monitor project progress and site activities, ensuring quality control and compliance with specifications.
- Chair regular progress meetings, record minutes and follow‑up on actions.
- Manage contract performance, variations, site instructions, claims and change control.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance according to Irish regulations and company policy.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and clients.
- Maintain project documentation and records in an organised manner.
- Foster positive client relationships and manage client expectations.
