Our client are a specialist social care provider delivering Residential, Day and Outreach Services for children and adults with Disabilities and Autism, supporting individuals to realise their potential and live meaningful, inclusive lives.
We are currently recruiting Support Workers and Community Support Workers to join on a permanent basis across Residential, and Day Services in the Cork, Tipperary and Kerry area- The Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred support in residential, day or community settings
- Promote independence, wellbeing and social inclusion
- Support daily routines, activities and community engagement
- Assist individuals to achieve personal goals and develop life skills
- Work collaboratively within supportive, experienced teams
- Contribute to a safe, positive and empowering environment
- Shift Patterns
- Residential: Days and night rosters(flexibility required)
- Day Services: Predominantly Monday–Saturday
- Applicant Requirements
- QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification (minimum 8 modules completed – essential)
- Full manual driver’s licence (essential)
- A genuine interest in working with people with disabilities or autism
- Strong communication, empathy and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and a person-centred approach to care
