Role Overview
This is a great opportunity for a senior Oracle APEX developer who wants to take ownership of complex, evolving systems and contribute to high-value product development. The successful candidate will work as part of a small, focused engineering team responsible for delivering new features, enhancing functionality, and ensuring platform stability and performance.This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone with deep Oracle APEX experience who enjoys building scalable, reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement new features using Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
- Build and maintain REST API integrations with external systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and delivery to define technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure high availability.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- Stay current with Oracle APEX and related technologies.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with Oracle APEX in a development-focused role.
- Strong PL/SQL and Oracle Database skills.
- Solid front-end development experience using JavaScript.
- Proven experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Experience delivering robust applications in a production environment.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating within a distributed team.
Nice to Have:
- Background in SaaS, financial services, or data-driven platforms.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud-based deployment environments.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methods.
