In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and maintaining a pivotal product for the Investment organization, collaborating closely with business and technology partners across Ireland and the US.If you are passionate about innovative solutions and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is the opportunity for you!
What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and architecture of high-quality, innovative software solutions within an Agile environment.
- Drive the implementation of best practices in application design and development.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster growth across global teams.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment with long-term strategies.
- Embrace new technologies, focusing on automation and streamlining processes, including leveraging GenAI development assist tools.
The Expertise You Have:
- A BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in software application design and development.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular (nice to have), and REST Services.
- Extensive experience with Cloud technologies, particularly AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, Docker).
- Strong background in automated unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and performance testing.
