Deputy Manager - Children's Service (Under 12) New

Cpl Healthcare are delighted to partner with our client in the recruitment of a Deputy Manager for an Under 12s Children’s Residential Service in Dundrum, Tipperary.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join a dedicated team providing high-quality, child-centred care in a therapeutic residential setting.

• Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
• Lead and supervise a team of residential care staff to ensure best practice in all aspects of care.
• Ensure the emotional, social, and educational needs of each child are met in line with their individual care plans.
• Promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment in compliance with HIQA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the service and staff through training, reflection, and professional development.

• A relevant qualification in Social Care or Childcare Qualififcation.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a residential childcare setting/childcare education setting at leadership level.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• A sound understanding of HIQA regulations and child protection policies.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
