Senior Financial Accountant

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our client's team within the sporting sector, based in their North Dublin office. You'll be joining a team of four and reporting directly to the Finance Director. This is an exciting opportunity for sport-enthusiastic professionals to become part of a collaborative and welcoming company culture.

This is a two-year fixed-term contract with a strong view to permanency, based fully onsite in Santry. Onsite parking is available, and the office is approximately a 10-minute walk from public transport links.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver financial and management reports, including monthly accounts and annual financial statements.
• Carry out reconciliations and financial controls, ensuring accuracy through regular review and analysis of results.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support effective decision-making.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, such as National Governing Bodies, Sport Ireland, auditors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate grant applications and monitoring, ensuring compliance with governance standards and best practice.

Candidate Requirements:

• Fully Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant - ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA
• 1-2 years' previous experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Excel
• Enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills
