This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance.

Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.

Job Description

The eligible participant will receive full training both formal and informal in all aspects of the placement and be supported by a mentor. This busy environment generates good work ethics and helps strengthen the participants personal and interpersonal skills.
This also helps build confidence and self esteem..They will assist and learn day to day duties of the job over the 6 months. The participant will gain experience in a variety of tasks including
Assisting General Manager
Office organization-- ordering supplies and managing inventory
Communications-- acting as a liaison between departments
Telephone skills - dealing with customer queries and escalating where necessary
Data entry-- entering and updating databases
Document and file management
Mailbox management

Preparing and issuing invoices
