Are you an experienced accounting professional with a passion for research, innovation, and impactful work? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join a leading research centre based North Dublin. This role offers a dynamic environment, and the opportunity to contribute to ground breaking projects at the forefront of data-driven research in Ireland.
As the Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and reporting on the financial and KPI performance of a large-scale research programme. You will support project budgeting, ensure compliance with funding requirements, and provide insightful financial analysis to guide strategic decisions
Typically, your day to day will involve: Prepare, manage, and interpret budgets, reports, and financial statements.
Oversee financial administration including invoicing, and procurement, Track and manage financial and KPI performance across multiple projects and funding sources.Support proposal budgeting and financial planning for new research initiatives.
Provide timely, accurate reports to management and funding agencies.
It is expected you are a qualified Accountant , with 3+ years post-qualification experience. Strong background in managing complex budgets or projects Proven experience using Agresso would be an advantage and strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, analysis tools).
