Accounts Technician
We are seeking a proactive Accounts Technician to join our clients growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and wider accounts support. This company offers a 4-day work week and is in South Wicklow.
For You:
- day work week (37.5 hours) Tuesday - Friday
- 35k DOE.
Located in South Wicklow, with parking.
Brand new office environment.Join a busy and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice and PO matching with follow-up on discrepancies.Preforming bank reconciliations.
Preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., VAT, PAYE).
Processing vendor payments and maintaining supplier records.
Performing general bookkeeping duties, including journals and ledgers.
Assisting with or running and preparing payroll processing.
Other account/administrative tasks as and when required.
Requirements:
Practice experience.Accounting technician qualification or similar.
2+ years’ experience in a similar accounts or bookkeeping role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Surf, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
