CAD Technician New - Cork

We are currently looking to recruit an Experienced CAD Technician to join our expanding team in Cork. The successful candidate will become a key part of our Building & Infrastructure Division, supporting the delivery of a wide range of civil engineering and building projects for both public and private sector clients.

• 3–5 years of proven experience in a design consultancy or design & build contracting environment.
• Strong background in producing detailed design drawings for construction, including reinforced concrete detailing and rebar scheduling.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with Civil 3D and CADS is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Role & Responsibilities

As a CAD Technician, your duties will include:

• Creating 2D and 3D drawings for civil and structural engineering projects, with a particular focus on site infrastructure and services.
• Preparing detailed drawings for reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and drainage layouts.
• Generating reinforcement details and bar bending schedules.
• Supporting the development of preliminary and detailed designs, and producing associated reports and specifications.
• Participating in project team meetings, collaborating with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients.
• Ensuring compliance with internal ISO standards and procedures.
