World leader manufacturer in data centre cooling equipment are seeking a highly skilled, organised and detail-oriented HVAC Service Engineer to join our team in Dublin to carry out service and maintenance of mission critical cooling systems in Ireland.

In your role as Service Engineer,
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Primary duties included delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality service, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC equipment and systems in line with company standards, vision, and health and safety policies.
  • Responsibilities included carrying out planned preventative maintenance on customer equipment in accordance with both company and third-party specifications, fault-finding on HVAC and refrigeration systems, accurately identifying defective components, and determining root causes of failure. Repairs were completed to factory standards, and quoted works were delivered within agreed scope and budget.
  • The role required working responsibly and diligently in mission-critical environments while maintaining full compliance with industry regulations and legislation, including Health & Safety and F-Gas requirements. All work was carried out in accordance with RAMS and site-specific safety procedures at all times.
  • The employee produced accurate and detailed service and maintenance reports within set KPIs using company service management software. They also proactively identified maintenance and service opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Additional duties included supporting colleagues outside their normal geographic area when required, working independently where necessary, and providing feedback to QA/QC teams to support continual product improvement. They worked closely with internal stakeholders to relay field intelligence and operational feedback.
  • At all times, the employee complied fully with statutory, company, and customer health and safety requirements, site working instructions, and security policies. Where business needs required, their skills were also utilised in areas such as project engineering, engineering support during the sales process, and product technical support.
  • They also undertook any additional duties reasonably assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Formal qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, HVAC, and/or Mechanical or Building Services
  • Minimum of four years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration/DX systems, including controls
  • F-Gas certified
  • Experience working on air handling units, CRAC/CRAH, split, and VRF systems
  • Experience with adiabatic cooling and chillers (desirable but not essential)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
