Project Manager – Service Transition / BPO
Bank of Ireland is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the transition of outsourced services between service providers and/or back in-house as part of a large-scale BPO vendor programme.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end delivery of service transition projects across planning, execution, governance, and close-out
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Engage with key stakeholders across Business, Procurement, Legal, IT, and external vendors
Drive operating model enhancements and ensure smooth ongoing service management
Manage risks, compliance, service continuity, and regulatory requirements
Oversee knowledge transfer, training, process documentation, and onboarding
Coordinate system changes, process improvements, and technology integration
Monitor KPIs, quality assurance, and post-implementation reviews
Required Experience:
Proven experience delivering complex enterprise-scale projects within Financial Services
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and vendor management skills
Experience managing outsourced service transitions or BPO programmes
Knowledge of project delivery methodologies, governance, compliance, and technical delivery lifecycle
Ability to manage multiple workstreams within tight timelines
Desirable:
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certifications
Experience within Procurement Services operations
Previous experience transitioning BPO activity between providers or in-house teams
