Receptionist (12-Week Temporary Assignment) – Dublin 9

Our client, based in Dublin 9, is seeking an experienced and professional Receptionist for a 12-week temporary assignment, commencing 15th June. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy office environment, providing front-of-house support alongside back office administrative duties, with potential for the role to become permanent.

Role Details
  • Location: Dublin 9
  • Duration: 12 weeks (with possibility of extension/permanency)
  • Start Date: 15th June
  • Working Hours:
  • Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 2:00pm
  • Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Hourly Rate: €17.37 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception experience
  • Managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
  • Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
  • Providing general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Assisting with scheduling, meeting room bookings, and diary coordination
  • Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within part-time hours
  • A professional, approachable, and reliable manner
