The Role
Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will manage cost, procurement, subcontractor payments, and project financial performance, while optimising project margins and ensuring commercial governance
Key Responsibilities- Lead cost management across multiple projects
- Prepare project budgets for senior operational and commercial stakeholders
- Manage subcontractor procurement and resource allocation
- Process subcontractor and supplier payments in line with company procedures
- Maintain commercial documentation and liaise with head office teams
- Oversee variations and ensure timely payment processes
- Support, supervise, and mentor junior QS staff where required
- Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure programme and budget compliance
- 8+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in fit-out, residential, or commercial construction
- Relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings clearly
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to meet challenging times and quality targets in a fast-paced environment
