Quality Coordinator (Weekend Days) - Fixed Term

In this role, you will assist the organisation in formulating quality standards and regulations, monitor the quality management system, ensure compliance with the latest quality controls, and help maintain company-wide standards.
Position type: Temporary Full-Time (Contract end date 31/12/2026)Hours: 40
Shift Pattern: Friday - Sunday, 06:30- 18:00
Pay range: €15.36 per hourBreaks: 30 mins paid & 30 mins unpaid
Closing date: Friday 24th April 2026
Responsibilities:
- Maintain site audit and food safety standards, ensuring Food Safety, Quality, Integrity, GMP, hygiene, allergen and CCP controls are effectively implemented and complied with across production.
- Conduct quality, hygiene and line audits, including GMP, glass & brittle plastic, post-clean inspections, ATP/allergen swabbing, traceability and barcode verification, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Ensure product and process compliance, validating quality against QAS, maintaining accurate batch documentation, managing retained samples, shelf‑life control, calibration of food safety equipment and micro testing.
- Support with quality investigations and non-conformances, raising NCRs, supporting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, closing out issues with evidence, and reporting findings to the Quality Manager.
- Support operational quality culture, facilitating taste panels, monitoring hygiene practices, identifying training needs, reporting issues promptly, and working closely with production teams to prevent recurring issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with internal quality audits in a Food/FMCG manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to perform gap analysis and interpret quality data accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems, with confidence in managing and reviewing quality documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, able to report findings clearly and maintain high standards consistently.
- Good understanding of food safety and quality principles, including GMP, allergen awareness, pest awareness, and Food Safety Level 1 or 2.
