Maintenance Person - Co. Kerry

Sky Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Maintenance Person in Co. Kerry. This hands-on role is suited to an experienced and reliable individual who can ensure the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of a hospitality property through regular maintenance and prompt repairs.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and capable of addressing a wide range of routine maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance checks and address repairs promptly
• Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks
• Respond to maintenance requests from departments and resolve issues efficiently
• Ensure all facilities, equipment, and systems are operating safely and efficiently
• Monitor and maintain heating, ventilation, and other building systems
• Maintain maintenance logs and report on completed work and outstanding issues
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Support with external contractor supervision as required
• Keep all tools and work areas clean, safe, and well-organised

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in general maintenance or similar trade background
• Multi-skilled with basic proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and building repair work
• Ability to diagnose issues and carry out solutions independently
• Good communication and time management skills
• Flexibility with working hours and availability for occasional weekends
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
