Facilities Maintenance & Engineering Manager to join a rapidly expanding logistics business overseeing 4 cold store distribution centres across Dublin & Cork.

Facilities Maintenance Manager to join a rapidly expanding cold storage logistics business. The role oversees Facilities / Maintenance Management for 4 sites across Dublin & Cork.

This is a hybrid working role requiring regular visits to each of the properties whilst also allowing for home working

Description

The successful applicant will have an active role in any new developments, site upgrades / CAPEX projects. You will manage an engineering / maintenance team along with specialist external contractors.

• Oversee the effective operation, maintenance, and improvement of facilities.
• Manage and deliver CAPEX projects across the portfolio
• Ensure adherence to compliance / health and safety regulations.
• Manage and lead a team of engineers and facilities staff.
• Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules.
• Work closely with senior management to develop strategic facilities plans.
• Manage external contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and manage budgets for the facilities department.
• Implement and manage energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree in Engineering or a related field (desirable)
• Previous experience in a multi-site Facilities Management role within the logistics sector
• Possess a strong working knowledge of the 2014 EU F-Gas Regulation (517/2014), EU Refrigeration Standard EN 378 and Risk Management Programs.
• IOSH / NEBOSH Certification
• Knowledge of compliance/ health and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A proactive approach to maintenance and improvement.

• €80,000 - 90,000 annual salary
