The Role
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join our Galway team, with opportunities available in other locations nationwide. The successful candidates will work as part of a dedicated care team, providing tailored support to individuals with complex needs in a safe and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support to service users in line with their individual care and support plans.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Support service users to access community activities, appointments, and social opportunities.
Promote independence while ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
Monitor, record, and report on progress, incidents, and behaviours of concern in accordance with company policies.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary approach.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year’s experience supporting individuals with complex needs, mental health challenges, or disabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to challenging situations.
A caring, respectful, and professional approach to care delivery.
Full driving licence and access to own transport is desirable.
Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
