Your Role
As a Junior Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll be a key part of our site teams, helping to embed a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning. You’ll work closely with experienced HSE professionals, gaining hands-on experience while supporting the delivery of best-in-class health, safety, and environmental standards across our projects.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do- Be a visible and positive presence on site—leading by example every day
- Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental plans
- Carry out site inspections and audits, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assist in incident investigations and help develop practical solutions
- Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure compliance
- Stay up to date with legislation and best practices, sharing knowledge with your team
- Deliver or support training sessions to promote awareness and engagement
- Attend start-up meetings and contribute to supply chain safety discussions
- Support the preparation of health and safety reports and documentation
Experience:
What You Bring- A genuine passion for health and safety and a desire to grow in the field
- A relevant qualification such as:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
- NVQ Level 4 / EFQ Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety
- Awareness or training in:
- Temporary Works
- Incident Investigation
- Lifting operations (BS 7121 / IS361)
- CDM / PSDP / PSCS regulations
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
