Senior Investment Analyst New

The Senior Investment Analyst’s role is to work collaboratively within the Irish Portfolio Monitoring team.

Activities will include:

• The review and analysis of investee reports for each investment as received.
• Being responsible for the creation and presentation of the annual review paper for each investment.
• Conducting company and industry research as required
• Conducting financial statement analysis and assisting in the preparation of valuations for equity investments
• Attending investee company meetings as required
• Building effective relationships with wider team, support departments (legal, risk and compliance), Investee companies and co-investors as required.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a relevant third level qualification.
• 4+ years’ relevant experience in investment management, portfolio management, or similar environment (private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, commercial/corporate banking, accountancy etc).
• Experience working in finance and/or portfolio monitoring.
• Be a Chartered Financial Analyst or be progressing towards either CFA qualification or accountancy qualification
• Demonstrate a keen and well-informed interest in investment and in developing knowledge and expertise.
• Knowledge of data analytics.
