This residential service offers enhanced supports for individuals with physical and sensory disabilities. As a Social Care Worker, you will play an essential role in empowering service users, supporting activities of daily living, and contributing to a safe, supportive, and enriching environment in line with HIQA national standards.
We are now accepting applications for Social Care Workers for residential services based in Blackrock, Cork. If you have a genuine passion for providing high-quality care and want to work with an employer who truly values both their staff and service users, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with each service user’s Key Worker in implementing Person-Centred Plans and Care Plans
- Support service users with all activities of daily living, including personal care
- Maintain strong awareness of the Health Act 2007 and HIQA Regulations for Disability Services
- Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate delivery of care at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum QQI Level 7 degree in Social Care or a relevant discipline
- CORU Registered or in the process of CORU
- Knowledge of HIQA standards
- Full driver’s license is not essential, but advantageous
