Staff Nurse; Pre-Assessment unit New

Our client is a well established private Cork city hospital, who as a result of continuing expansion has an immediate requirement for an experienced Staff Nurse to join their Clinical Nurse Manager led Pre Assessment Clinic.

The successful candidate will ensure that their specialised skills and knowledge are utilised to facilitate the provision of a quality patient focused service for all patients attending the Hospital.

To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:

• Registered General Nurse on the live register with The NMBI (Adaptation/RCSI aptitude test support is not available for this role).
• Demonstrable commitment to patient Safety & Quality.
• Venepuncture competency essential
• Minimum 3 years post graduate acute surgical nursing experience essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work on their own initiative and to be self motivated.
• Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
