About the Role

As Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the smooth daily operations of a busy warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate handling of stock, efficient deliveries, and a clean, safe, and organised environment. Leading a small team, you will use your communication, planning, and leadership skills to maintain high standards of service and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily workflows, truck loading/unloading, and delivery schedules
• Oversee goods-in processes including unloading, put-away, and inter-branch transfers
• Coordinate container deliveries and ensure timely unloading
• Organise stock control, cycle counts, and annual stocktake

• Lead and motivate a small warehouse team
• Delegate tasks effectively and manage rotas to maintain coverage
• Conduct performance reviews, mentoring, and team development
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and productive working culture

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
• Drive continuous improvement in warehouse systems and stock control
• Liaise with internal departments and external logistics partners

• Address operational or staffing issues promptly and professionally
• Foster a fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace

• Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management
• Strong leadership, planning, and organisational abilities
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of health & safety compliance
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential
