Rate: Up to €20 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a long-established Irish wholesale and distribution business for an experienced Combilift Operator to join their busy Steel Yard & Warehouse team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator with experience handling long and heavy materials in a fast-paced industrial environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting safe and efficient yard operations while working as part of a team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: Safely operate a Combilift / multidirectional forklift within a busy steel yard and warehouse environment

Transport, stack and manoeuvre a range of steel products and oversized materials with precision
Support the efficient flow of goods for deliveries, collections and customer orders
Accurately prepare, pick and load materials in line with operational requirements
Maintain a clean, organised and safety-focused yard at all times
Complete routine equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
Collaborate closely with warehouse personnel, transport teams and site management to ensure daily operations run efficiently

Adhere to all health & safety standards while contributing to a positive team environment

Skills & Experience Required: Valid Forklift/ Combilift license is essential

5+ years experience operating heavy material-handling equipment

Previous exposure to steel, construction, timber or other large-load environments would be highly advantageous
Excellent awareness of surroundings with a strong focus on safe load handling
Comfortable working in an outdoor, fast-moving industrial setting
Ability to work well within a team environment

Strong work ethic with a proactive and practical approach to daily tasksc
