Our client, a well-established construction organisation has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Specialist to join their growing team in Cork. Applications are invited from candidates with sales experience and a track record of achievement in a fast-paced environment.Our client has been synonymous with the supply of building materials in the area for over 80 Years.
Role Details:
Full time on site
Salary: 50-55k negotiable depending on experience
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the administration of key accounts and negotiate deals. This includes the negotiation with manufacturers & suppliers on price and terms including locking in a price for a duration
- Keeping up to date on the ever-changing market and products
- Building relationships with internal & external customers
- Working with the team to improve customer experience
- Review the current market prices to ensure best price is being achieved
- To maintain record of pricing documents
- To identify areas for process improvement within the purchasing and sales function
The successful candidate:
- Experience in a construction sales role preferably
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and competent IT skills are essential
- Knowledge of building materials is an advantage
- Negotiating skills
