Job Description
Urban Contractors Ltd is currently seeking experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join its construction team on residential and commercial projects.Installation and dismantling of temporary formwork and shuttering systems used in reinforced concrete works, in accordance with engineering drawings, safety standards and site requirements.
Inspect formwork components and carry out basic maintenance to ensure safe reuse
Comply with all construction health and safety procedures, including formwork-specific risk assessments and method statements
Maintain a safe and orderly work area at all times in line with site rules and Irish HSA requirements
Skills & Experience Requirements
Minimum 4 years’ proven experience working as a Shuttering Carpenter on construction sites
Demonstrated experience with formwork and shuttering systems for reinforced concrete works
No formal academic qualification required; trade experience is essential
