Cleaning Operative Jobs Dublin West | Healthcare Cleaning Role
3Q Recruitment is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to support a busy healthcare facility in Dublin West (Dublin 10 area). This role is essential to maintaining high standards of hygiene, infection control and comfort for residents, patients and visitors.
This is a frontline healthcare support role, ideal for candidates with professional cleaning experience who understand the importance of attention to detail, infection prevention and working within regulated healthcare environments.
The role also includes occasional light Catering Assistant support, helping ensure smooth daily operations across the site.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Operative, you will: Maintain high standards of cleanliness across communal and clinical areas
Prepare rooms for new residents, ensuring spaces are clean, organised and ready for useClean and sanitise high-touch surfaces in line with healthcare infection control standards
Handle waste disposal safely and in accordance with site procedures
Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages promptly
Follow daily cleaning schedules and respond to urgent cleaning requests when required
Support light Catering Assistant duties when needed
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, well-organised healthcare environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have: 6–12 months’ experience in professional cleaning or a similar role
Experience in healthcare, residential or regulated environments is an advantageStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to hygiene tasks
Understanding of health & safety and infection control practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Flexibility to work across a Monday–Sunday roster, including weekends and Bank Holidays
Legal right to work in Ireland and ability to complete Garda Vetting
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Salary & Benefits
€17.53 per hourDouble Pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
27 hours per week, across 3 days
Daytime shifts only, typically 8:00am–6:00pm
