About the Role
As a Multitask Attendant, you’ll play an important part in the daily life of the centre. You’ll support service users with meals, activities, safe movement around the building, and general day-to-day needs. You’ll also assist staff with maintaining a warm, respectful, and well-run environment for everyone who walks through their doors.
Main Role & Responsibilities
⦁ Escorting service users to and from the dining area.⦁ Escorting service users to and from outdoor activities and assisting with planned centre activities.
⦁ Helping create an engaging, welcoming atmosphere throughout the day.
⦁ Working flexibly, taking initiative, and supporting the wider team.
⦁ Communicating clearly and kindly with service users, families, and staff.
⦁ Supporting personal care needs when required.
⦁ Upholding dignity, respect, and professionalism in all interactions.
⦁ Carrying out moving, lifting, and light cleaning tasks as needed.
Desirable Skills & Attributes
⦁ A genuine interest in working in a healthcare or social care environment.⦁ A positive attitude and willingness to learn—experience is helpful but not required.
⦁ Strong communication, organisation, and people skills.
⦁ Patience, empathy, and comfort engaging with elderly and vulnerable individuals.
⦁ Physical fitness to safely assist with mobility and housekeeping tasks.
⦁ Reliability, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
⦁ Training in Health Care Support is encouraged, and we will provide comprehensive guidance as you grow in the role.
