Senior Audit Manager - Financial Services

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Manager to join our growing Financial Services Audit team. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of financial services clients, delivering audits to a high technical and commercial standard.
• Lead and develop a team, planning and allocating resources effectively.
• Support business development initiatives alongside partners and directors.
• Oversee financial aspects of client portfolios, including budgeting, billing, and recovery.
• Build and maintain strong client and internal relationships, promoting the firm’s values.
• Recruit, mentor, and coach team members, supporting learning and development.
• Ensure compliance with risk management policies and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge in financial services accounting and audit standards.
• Apply specialist knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102, and Solvency II where relevant to client engagements.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified accountant with at least 3 years PQE in financial services audit within a large practice.
• Proven experience leading large audit assignments and developing talent.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Committed to high standards, ethical practice, and continuous self-development.
