Head of Student Recruitment/Inside Sales (6 Months)
Here at Osborne, we are recruiting for a Head of Student Recruitment on behalf of our client. This an excellent opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing higher education institutions in Ireland located in the heart of Dublin. This is a very exciting opportunity for someone looking to lead the recruitment and overall coordination for this institution.

Responsibilities: Strategy & Planning
Develop, implement, and review the College’s student recruitment strategy in alignment with overall institutional goals.Provide input into prospective development and ensure recruitment activity aligns with the College’s brand, values, and student voice.
Monitor market trends, policy developments, and competitor activity to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
Critically assess and evaluate recruitment activities for value for money, investment returns, and alignment with targets, making improvements as required.
Identify emerging risks to recruitment targets and formulate plans to mitigate these risks across all relevant international recruitment activities.
Target Setting & Performance Monitoring
Lead on setting and achieving intake targets across various verticals (English Language and Higher Education).Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics and conversion data.
Use data insights to inform planning, optimize conversion rates, and enhance the prospective student experience.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Build, manage, and develop a regional team to deliver on recruitment objectives.Foster a collaborative, student-focused, and target-driven culture within the team.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Admissions, Marketing, Academic colleagues, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless recruitment-to-enrolment journey.
Outreach & Relationship Management
Lead the recruitment, coordination, and monitoring of a network of agents and other channels to support international recruitment activity.Prepare regular reports for senior management and contribute to strategic meetings.
Build strong relationships with other schools, agents, and pathway providers.
Develop, manage, and maintain a network of overseas institutions and agencies to establish effective recruitment pipelines and referral channels.
Events & Representation
Assist with planning for school outreach, open days/information sessions, agent training, and recruitment events.Represent the college at recruitment events, fairs, and industry forums in Ireland and internationally.
Serve as a credible voice of authority in the private education sector within the region and provide advice and support to institutions regarding their planning and activities.
Requirements:
Knowledge of global education systems, with a focus on post-16 education.At least 5 years’ experience in sales management or business development, ideally within an educational environment (not essential).
General understanding of market trends in both private and public, as well as international education sectors.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and use insights for decision-making and process improvements.
Comfortable working across complex organizations and engaging with varied stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
Familiarity with library cataloguing systems and basic knowledge of library classification (desirable).
