Temp Social Care Worker - Wicklow – ID Sector - €40k - €50k DOE:

In your new role you will:

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to the service user across a structured daily routine as per the service user will and preference.
• Encourage and enable meaningful engagement, respecting the individual's autonomy and communication style.
• Build a positive relationship with both the service user and staff team.
• Ensure compliance is in line with all regulatory standards and company policies.
• All other tasks as outlines by your manager.
• Be flexible if the individual chooses not to engage—use nearby facilities (e.g., a local coffee shop) during downtime.
• Complete daily paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.

To be a successful candidate you will have:

• A minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or related field and have CORU registration started.
• Minimum 1 year's experience working with adults with autism and intellectual disabilities.
• The ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
• A calm, empathetic approach.
• Full clean driving licence – manual driving experience preferred.
• Open to engaging in banter, humour, and building authentic rapport.
• Able to maintain professional boundaries while being personable and empathetic.
• Confident with completing daily logs and reports.
