Cork - Maintenance Supervisor New

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate maintenance technicians to ensure safe and effective execution of duties supporting production and building operations.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment according to maintenance schedules.
• Maintain all internal building systems (electrical, plumbing, compressed air, etc.)
• Execute the maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and liaise with relevant departments.
• Assist in shutdown planning and organize related documentation and activities.
• Coordinate planned downtime with the Production Manager and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures; review and implement updates with the H&S Department.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of maintenance team members in conjunction with HR.
• Ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures; manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Maintain discipline, morale, and harmonious personnel relations.
• Manage and motivate team members, including performance management and training development plans.
• Oversee installation of equipment and machinery.
• Manage procurement of parts and supplies required for maintenance activities.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with procedures and contract terms.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation within the maintenance function.
• Attend relevant training, classes, or seminars.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• 3rd level qualification in Engineering, Maintenance, or related discipline (Diploma, Trade qualification, etc.)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficient and confident in using computer systems
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with mechanics and pneumatics
• Full B Driving Licence
