A global leader in chemical and gas raw materials has a new vacancy for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the team in Leixlip.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating contracts with Key Stakeholders of Chemical & Gas warehousing in Ireland and Consolidated warehousing
• You will identify new processes & continuous improvement opportunities and implement required changes with support from the Ireland Productivity Manager
• Moreover, you will also be directly responsible for all new service suppliers from a contractual perspective
• Developing annual Budget submission for all Business and developing cost and sales analysis for the TMM Director to review in line with the company’s expectations
• In addition you will be responsible for contract negotiation with Customer and negotiate annual logistics contracts with international ocean freight providers

• You have a Procurement and/or Supply Chain qualification or significant working experience within a similar role
• Strong track record in Commercial Procurement Management
• Experience with managing a team; engaging, developing, and inspiring them to deliver at their highest capabilities
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
• You have a passion for and experience of implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Working with integrity you are a role model for the behaviours aligned to being an inclusive workplace
