Sales Executive – Showroom (Cork)

Are you passionate about sales and creating exceptional customer experiences? We are seeking a Sales Executive to join a well-established showroom team in Cork. This is a fantastic role for a sales professional with experience in the commercial construction sector and/or retail showroom environment, ideally with exposure to interiors, lighting, furniture, tiles, bathrooms, or similar.

You will be responsible for growing, developing, and driving sales with both new and existing clients, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with an existing customer base.
• Proactively develop new business with Plumbers, Tilers, Interior Designers, Building Contractors, and Architects.
• Meet sales and margin targets as set by management.
• Negotiate pricing while ensuring agreed sales and margin objectives are achieved.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, collaborating with the showroom sales team on client appointments.
• Track and analyze quotations (won/lost) and provide feedback.
• Create long-lasting relationships with regular customers.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer-facing sales within the commercial construction sector and/or retail showroom environment.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with tradespeople and convert them into regular customers.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and delivering results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
• Full, clean, valid driver’s license.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with strong follow-up skills.
