Are you seeking an opportunity to work in a fast paced and vital industry with an opportunity to develop your skills, experience and your future career? We are seeking a General Operative to join our container terminal team at DCATS.

Your role

You will ensure the safe, careful and efficient load and discharge of HGV vehicles in line with H&S standards and safe systems of work.

You will ensure all activities are carried out to high standards and that any incidents and complaints are efficiently and satisfactorily completed and will be flexible to changing operational requirements.

What you'll bring

You will:

  • Have experience driving machinery, such as track machines, diggers, forklifts in an operational environment
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse range of people
  • Have experience of working effectively as part of a team to deliver to high standards.
  • A full valid driving licence.
