Raw Material Operator

Our client is a highly experienced Global Sourcing Specialists within Industrial Supplies. We are assisting them in recruiting a full-time Raw Material Operator to work onsite with their client who is located in Dublin 2.

This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, handling, and storage of bulk raw materials to support continuous production. The role requires precision, strong organisational skills, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

This permanent position offers the below shift pattern:

6 am – 2pm
10 am – 7pm

Saturday / Sunday 6am -2pm

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive Salary
KPI Bonus. Paid annually in December.
Incremental annual leave- 1 day to increase per calendar year worked to a max of 23.
Pension scheme after 1 year in service.

Death in service 2x times salary.

Responsibilities:

Receiving and Unloading – Manage the intake of raw materials, unload deliveries, and ensure safe, compliant handling.
Inventory Management – Maintain accurate records of stock levels, track usage, and support production demand.
Quality Control – Inspect incoming materials to verify compliance with specifications.
Material Handling – Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and store materials efficiently.
Coordination – Liaise with suppliers, production, and internal teams to resolve supply issues.
Documentation – Record intake data, inspection results, and inventory updates accurately.

Safety Compliance – Follow all safety standards and contribute to a safe working environment

Key Requirements:

Valid forklift licence or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in inventory management and stock control.
Knowledge of quality control procedures.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Fluency in English, with confidence in dealing with clients and suppliers.
High attention to detail and focus on continuous improvement.
