We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth procurement processes.
Location: Outside of Cork City - 4 days in the office and one day working from homeDuration: 11 months temporary contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier invoices in SAP.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support operational needs.
- Communicate with vendors to track orders, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate pricing.
- Generate and analyze purchasing reports to support management decisions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience using SAP in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
