Job Description:

Flexsource are currently recruiting a Bus Driver / Caretaker on behalf of our public sector client based in Co. Offaly (Birr / Banagher area).

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily student transport route from Birr to Banagher via Kilcormac & Ferbane
• Morning and afternoon driving runs
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and completing required paperwork
• Ensuring safe, professional, and timely transport of passengers
• General caretaking duties at a local training centre (approx. 4 hours weekly)
• Adhering to all driver hours, tachograph, and road safety regulations
• Ad hoc duties as required

Key Requirements:

• Full D Category Bus Licence essential
• Valid CPC Card essential
• Digital tachograph card required
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Willingness to complete caretaking duties
• Previous driving experience is an advantage

Hours:

• 24 hours per week
• Morning & afternoon split shifts
• Monday to Friday

Pay:

• €18.19 per hour

Contract:

• Fixed term role until end of June 2026
• Position recommences September 2026
