Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties: Reception (Main Switchboard)
Reception duties as required.Switchboard operation.
Dealing with the public and enquiries – to become familiar with the ethos and activities of St Mary’s Parish to enable any enquiries to be dealt with in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
Managing a diary system.
Responsible for the communication of all messages received at reception.
Sacristan duties.
Sorting of correspondence.
Punctuality.
Administration: To provide administrative assistance.
Computer skills.
FilingGood communication skills.
Letter writing/Dictaphone typing.
Diary management.
Good organisational skills.
Dealing with correspondence.
General:To be caring and compassionate with all service users in order to maintain a welcoming and supportive environment in the office.
To work in conjunction with other team members.
To be aware that confidentiality is of the utmost importance.
To be flexible and prioritise workload accordingly.
To allocate and manage time efficiently.
To adhere to all Health & Safety Regulations.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
